Using the Bible in the boss rooms of Satan or Isaac will always result in damage to the player, regardless of whether that boss is alive or not (may be intentional).As with most activated items, items such as Habit, 9 Volt and The Battery decrease the charge time, increasing the effectiveness of this item.This item will be completely useless when used (except against Mom and Mom's Heart/It Lives) if Isaac already has Flight.The Rosary adds this item to the Shop pool 7 times.The player's wings turn black if Lord Of The Pit, Spirit Of The Night, The Pact or Brimstone have been picked up or if The Nail or Whore of Babylon have been activated.The flight effect will be granted as usual. It will not kill the player if used on ?, however.
Using the Bible on Satan or Isaac will instantly kill the player, but with The Wafer this is reduced to half a red heart and all soul hearts. Using the Bible on Mom or Mom's Heart/ It Lives will result in Mom or Mom's Heart/It Lives being killed instantly. Upon activation, the player grows angel wings and gains the ability to fly for that room.
